(Pic by Joseph John Nalloor)Students from the Department of Media and Communications won the Best Troop Award and Best Troop Captain at a grand Awards Ceremony held at the Knowledge Village Conference Center on Thursday, 29th May 2008.
The Manipal Dubai students' team under the name "Look Mommy I Can Act" won the overall prize after pipping over 30 teams in the grueling two months competition. The grand prize is a professional camera kit worth a whooping AED30,000 including a special award to Karen M. John as Best Team Captain. The winning team included Uzma Atcha, Melissa Khan, Ayesha Fahim, Aakansha Singh and Karen M. John.
