Knotty Tricks to tie a knot!

Get 'smart' in four seconds. Mr. Kailash Menon of the Department of Fashion Technology shares with the MAHE Dubai Community a 'Neck Tie' trick to impress and look smart. However like all good tricks, this one takes time to perfect.





Step 1: Lie the tie straight on the table, facing down. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 2: Turn the tie about one-fourth of the way as shown. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 3
:Take the other end and turn it upwards as shown to make a shape '4'. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 4: Take the left loop and hold it with your right hand. (Photo:Christina Marshall)




Step 5: Bring the left loop towards the right side loop. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 6: Twist your hand as shown and bring the left side turn into the right side turn. (Photo:Christina Marshall)


Step 7:Fit the two twists into each other. (Photo:Christina Marshall)


Step 8: Take the tail end and insert it into the space available. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 9:
Pull the tail-end forward. (Photo:Christina Marshall)



Step 10: The tail-end can be pulled downand the turns put in place. (Photo:Christina Marshall)


Step 11: With time and practice, you should be able to create the perfect tie. (Photo:Christina Marshall)
