The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) at Dubai Men's College, will open its doors to invite people to learn and discover the life of Alfred Nobel from 30 March to 29 May 2008. The exhibition titled 'Alfred Nobel: Networks of Innovation' tells his story and the context in which he worked. The exhibition consists of six elements:
- Introduction to the life of Alfred Nobel
- Nobel's early life in St Petersburg
- Nobel's inventions, laboratory and factory
- Nobel's industrial empire, oil venture and corporations
- Nobel's life in Paris
- Nobel's last will and the Nobel Prize.
Highlights will include a selection of Alfred Nobel's artifacts and creations, representation of the work of more than 750 Nobel Laureates, films highlighting groundbreaking achievements, stories and artifacts of the most famous and controversial prizes and speeches and lectures.
Entrance to the exhibition is free. Invitation is open to all.
