Preparations are in full swing for the International Women's Day campaign that is set to take place at the MAHE Dubai Campus on 9th February, 2008. You've probably seen the teasers around college already and are probably wondering what they are all about. So here's what you need to know:
The Blue Brigade will be coming to interact with you on Wednesday, 5th March. Not only will they tell you more about the campaign itself, but they will also have a number of surprises in store for you. Watch out for them!
The main campaign (9th March) will definitely be something to look forward to, especially with the fun-filled events that are lined up for the D-day:
- The Wall of Fame will be placed in the Media Department on the 2nd floor. It will include interesting articles, write-ups and information on women from across the world.
- There will also be Henna Tattooing on the ground floor.
- Live Music will be played on the ground floor.
- Join the movement by wearing the Purple Badge to show your solidarity.
So, get set to partake of this celebration of womanhood!
