Anil Kumble (Picture by AP) Anil Kumble, Indian Test Cricket Captain and Brand Ambassador of Manipal Education, will be visiting the MAHE - Dubai Campus tomorrow to tour the campus and interact with the students. He will also be announcing the launch of new programmes to be offered at the MAHE - Dubai Campus.
Kumble is India's highest wicket-taker for India in both Test and One Day International matches with over 600 Test wickets and 330 ODI wickets. He is also the third highest wicket-taker in Test cricket.
Anil Kumble is known world over as one of only two bowlers in the history of cricket to have taken all 10 wickets in a test innings, the other being Jim Laker of England. Kumble is currently ranked among the top ten bowlers in Test Cricket by the International Cricket Council.
He was awarded the Padma Shri award in 2005 by the Government of India to recognize his distinguished contribution to sports.
It is a great honour to have this esteemed personality on campus.
