Collage by: Afshan AhmedThe Basic Professional Photography Workshop held by eminent photographer, Ms. Jisha Nair ended last week, the 13th of March 2008. The 2 week long workshop not only taught the students basic photographic skills but challenged them to come up with lighting setups for a photo shoot.
On the last day Ms. Jisha ended the session with her pearls of wisdom and a few simple and cheap lighting techniques to try at home where expensive studio lighting cannot be recreated. She also generously invited the students to her photo shoots for on field assistance and knowledge.
All students were awarded certificate of participation by Ms. Jisha and Dr. B. Ramjee in a small ceremony held in the sound lab. As a token of appreciation, all those who graciously provided their support in making this workshop a success, were given personally signed photo frames.
