On the occasion of 'World No Tobacco Day 2008', the Ministry of Health is holding a competition whereby anti-smoking supporters can raise their voices against tobacco, through creativity and art.
Featured in Khaleej Times - 28th April, 2008 The competition is open to students from schools and universities, working professionals as well as the general public.
All artwork must fall under the theme and slogan "Tobacco-Free Youth" and contain a warning or health message.
Participants can submit one or both of the following:
- Poster
- Digital Photo
Two winners will be picked from the above categories. This announcement and the prize distribution will take place on the World No Tobacco Day (31st May) 2008 . The ceremony will be presided over by H.E. Humeid Al-Qutami, Minister of Health.
So for all those amongst you who have been craving an opportunity to raise your creative voices against the chain smokers around you, here's your chance!
